You are invited to the 72nd Conference of University of Latvia, 2014. This year the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics is starting the conference with a plenary session „Economics Management Demography” and offers fourteen sessions and one international session “Impact of globalization to national economies and business” for presenting and discussing of research results as well as getting acquainted with work results of other researchers.
In 2014 FBME, different sessions will take place in January and February (see enclosed calendar schedule). In this conference we especially want to highlight interaction of science and practice, to discuss practical use of scientific work results and to understand the needs of different industry sectors.
All interested parties are welcome to the conference – students, teaching staff and researchers from all universities and scientific institutions, representatives of companies and organizations, as well as foreign guests. You are invited as both participants presenting reports as well as participants in discussions. Time for discussion will be planned for each session.
Requirements for summaries are available on the website of the faculty in the section UL 72nd conference. Report summaries will be published prior to conference.
Applications will be accepted electronically on the website of the faculty www.bvef.lu.lv till December 8th, 2013. When applying for the conference you must submit a summary of the report (approx. 300 words) and select section “Impact of globalization to national economies and business”.
