From the 27th of November till the 5th of December International economy and diplomacy 3rd and 4th year students along with the academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Management visited one of our partner universities - Hochschule Fulda in Germany.

From the 27th of November till the 5th of December International economy and diplomacy 3rd and 4th year students along with the academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Management visited one of our partner universities - Hochschule Fulda in Germany.

The purpose of the study trip was to participate in the conference Contemporary Issues in International Management Strategies. During their stay students took part in various workshop activities thus improving their knowledge in marketing and organizational management. Our students had prepared presentations for the conference on the topic „The role of Government of Latvia in overcoming the economic crisis”

Students also participated in many excursions – guests were taken to salt mine, Cold War memorial “Point Alpha”. Students also visited Fulda Business Incubator, where innovative ideas of local entrepreneurs were presented to them. A final touch to the amazing week gave visit of Fulda Christmas market.

On behalf of all the students the author would like to thank the director of  International economy and diplomacy study programme Ērika Šumilo and professor Baiba Šavriņa along with all the academic staff that took part in the organization of this study trip.
