UL FBME professors visited University of Tirana

Prof. Janis Priede, Prof. Sandra Jekabsone and Vice Rector of the University of Tirana Asoc.prof. Bernard Dosti.

From the 6th until 9th of July University of Latvia, Faculty of Business, Management and Economics professors Janis Priede and Sandra Jekabsone were visiting University of Tirana in Albania.

During the visit there were discussed different opportunities for the cooperation with the Vice Rector of the University of Tirana Asoc.prof. Dr. Bernard Dosi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Fatmir Memaj and the International Office of the Tirana University.

There were established necessity to promote cooperation in several fields:

  1. Exchange of professors and students in the fields of Economics, Business administration, Finance and Business informatics.
  2. Preparation of the joint research project applications and conducting joint research projects.
  3. Organizing joint international scientific conferences.

University of Tirana is the largest and best evaluated university in Albania with more then 35 000 students. University of Tirana is a member of Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region.

Visit was supported from the ERASMUS+ program.
