Faculty of Business, Management and Economics announces winter admission

The FBME welcomes the students to the academic bachelor’s programme “Business Administration” and “International Economics and Commercial Diplomacy”. For the master’s degree, there is an opportunity to study in master’s study programme “European Studies and Economic Diplomacy” and professional study programme “International Business”. All the study programmes are funded personally.

“We welcome everyone with a goal to learn and increase their knowledge in the fields of finance, economy, entrepreneurship, management, as well as international relations and European studies, to participate in the winter admission,” emphasized the UL FBME Dean and Professor Gundars Bērziņš.

The bachelor’s programmes are intended for the high school graduates and the students, who want to change their specialization, as well as the entrepreneurs aiming to gain some academic knowledge to supplement their experience in business. The academic and professional master’s study programme is the best option for the middle and top-level managers, employees of international institutions, governments, and municipalities, and also the experienced entrepreneurs to enable rapid development of their businesses.

The UL FBME winter enrolment in four study programmes will start in December 1, 2020 and end in January 22, 2021. Reception hours on January 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 9.00 till 18.00. Enrolment exams in master’s degree programmes will be held on January 27.

For admission we will need the following documents:

1. Copy of passport, residence permit in Latvia (if you have it)
2. Copies of previous education documents:

• Bachelor level programmes: secondary education documents, final diploma and transcript of records (translated in English with apostilles if obtained in other country than Latvia)
• Master level programmes: bachelor diploma and transcript of records (translated in English with apostilles if obtained in other country than Latvia). CV in English, Motivation letter
• English language knowledge proof (international certificate, CE – English language Exam from Latvian secondary school, confirmation if previous education obtained in English from corresponding educational institution)

Registration fee 30 EUR for applicants with education obtained in Latvia

For applicants whose education obtained outside Latvia registration fee 100 or 141 EUR.
