The government has extended the state of emergency until 12 May, maintaining all pre-determined restrictions. In order to reduce the risks for the staff, students, guests and visitors of the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics of the University of Latvia (UL FBME) to become infected with Covid-19, the study process is remotely extended until May 12.

Teaching staff of the UL FBME will ensure accessibility to study courses via online, they will inform about best and most effective solution for seminars, lecture materials, practical assignments. Academic staff will use all online tolls e.g. E-Studies platform, videoconferences, video materials, links to different e-sources. All tests will be organized online.

Updated information on study process, planned tests and assignments to students will be available in E-Studies platform. We kindly ask all students to check and follow up to all information published in E-Studies platform (https://estudijas.lu.lv/?lang=en) as well as in LUIS accounts (https://luis.lu.lv). 

Consultations face to face with academic staff members are also cancelled, we kindly ask students to contact with academic staff members via e-mails, Skype, phone and other electronic communication tools. Study centre of FBME will provide opportunity for consultations and information by phone, e-mails and all other electronic communication tools. All document submission and receiving will be organized electronically, only in case of emergency with prior appointment we shall organize consultation face to face.
